Honestly, it might have taken something like that happening to change it up. The team had zero fire the two seasons before Carr came. Sometimes a little conflict can make a team better if it helps them identify and solve issues. The offense clearly improved in the second half of the year so maybe all of the stuff you mentioned needed to happen. Maybe we needed to get rid of Thomas to get better. Carmichael too. I think you have to give it another year before giving up on Carr and DA.
