Dude, how many teams with a need for backup QB targeted someone like Peterman very early in free agency? He is a camp arm type at best. Those are not usually targeted so early in free agency. Maybe they have a ton of confidence in Haener to up his game to be a reliable backup and only need a camp arm. Just odd time to target one.
