Saints signed QB Nathan Peterman

I hear you. There are no doubt guys out there that none of us know about that can/will be good players. I mean, none of us, or at least very few, knew who Yiadom and Amadi were last year but we are crying because they left a year later. It's possible they will find more guys like that this year.

And, I'm fine if that is the strategy. I've never thought that spending big in free agency was the answer. I believe in building through the draft and filling holes in free agency with cheap players with upside. I'm admittedly just impatient for things to get moving. I'd feel a lot better with how things are going if we had a DE and OT in free agency. But, there is still time to get Young and Peat.

Yeah same here, especially LT.

That's the second most important position on the football field in my eyes, and we essentially have nothing there. I really don't want to go into the draft with that need un-fulfilled. We absolutely cannot afford another strikeout at that position. It would be devastating.

I am hoping that one of the veteran guys out there can get signed to a fairly inexpensive one-year deal.
