I think by guaranteed, he means that if Chase meets all of these stipulations he's guaranteed that much. Which isn't what guaranteed means. At least I've never seen it explained that way.
I feel like Ive been driving around the expressway system in Dallas trying to arrive at that interpretation of 'guaranteed'. I do like that if he doesnt play it builds in some cap space next season when we may have another HC.
