Chase Young had a neck procedure on 3/21 & will be ready for season; Played through neck stinger all 2023; Saints are comfortable with it

Chase isn't exactly a sleeper though. He's had a couple of injuries that have slowed him down. His talent and ceiling is undeniable. People have also questioned his motor and focus. It's definitely a concern. If he plays like he did his rookie season, he'll be a top 10 edge rusher. He's got the best potential of anyone available right now. It's a very low risk deal that could pay big dividends if it works out.

There are no sure things in football. Stuff happens. Guy is still only 24. He hasn't come close to hitting his prime yet.

I do agree we've been snakebit with getting free agents with injuries. And I totally understand why it feels like this is one of those "here we go again" but this isn't like those other situations.
I didn't mean Chase was a sleeper; I was talking about the Dav, Turner, and Penning experiments. Obviously, a top 5 pick is not a sleeper. There are legitimate questions about his performance from both Washington and Niner fans but I'm not sure how much an injury had to with it. It still sounds like a gamble considering our history with lineman injuries from anyone not named Cam.
