It was my second time to visit mortality. I was set upon by the lynx. Astrous and Plutus tangled the beast first. In their battle I was able to reach my spear. The foul creature was mighty and their wounds too grave. As it lunged to me, Renifer and Stimpius confronted it. I was unable to gain a clear stab until after it had wounded them mortally.
A fitting burial of the combatants was arranged.
