This is probably relevant to the discussion. I don't think Nick is saying they would pass on Bowers, but this is how he sees their interest in the OTs. I think when he says they should want Fashanu "regardless of position" I think he means it should not matter that Fausanu is a LT despite the fact that they probably have more of a need at RT with the Ram's health:
