It was a joke. They are terrible people who injured a bear cub that will now forever be separated from its mother and have to spend the next 4 to 6 years living at an animal sanctuary before it can be released back into the wild because they wanted to post a picture of themselves with a bear cub on Facebook. And who knows what happened to the other cub. My point was, they deserve to be severely punished for being butt crevasses and that getting mauled by the mom would have been justice.
If it makes you feel better, I'd be willing to personally maul them and I will join with Chuck to defend the mother if she is arrested for mauling them. Also, I would be willing to aid and abet the mother's escape from incarceration.
And, FWIW, I don't think they should euthanize bears for doing what bears do. If you get mauled by a bear, you forked around and found out. It wasn't the bears fault. I also don't think they should euthanize gators that are comfortable in populated areas like Bayou St. John. Relocate them but don't kill them.
