Todays Presidential "statement of the day"....

I am basing my points off of FACTS, not someone's opinions. I posted two links that showed factual data about the price of crude oil, gas, and GDPs. These are not opinionated. I also linked the video of Bush discussing the original issue about the cost of gas. This was so that my point could be taken as fact and not from something written by the media.

Your original post was taking what the president said OUT OF CONTEXT to make him look as you wish. His point was not that he didn't know what the price of gas was, but that he had not heard from those who report to him, that the price of gas would soon be at $4/gallon.

Does that makes sense to you? Does that help?

Just curious. How old are you?

last post on this subject for me since we can only agree to disagree....It was not taken out of context. He was asked a question regarding the eventual price of gas, and he did not know that anyone was predicting $4 gas. Whether it be from his immediate staff, advisors or family, thats is at best irresponsible for a President responsible for the economic well-being of our country to not have ANY indication of what is to come. I dont care if no one in his inner circle were the ones to actually inform him, and if that is what you are pointing out.

Fact remains that no one informed him and he doest know unless someone tells him? please. So either he didnt know because no one told him or he does know and looks like nothing is being done to address it. Either way, it looks really bad.

And regarding your FACTS, based on areas that a)provide more for thier citizens than we do b) have to have the Crude/Oil shipped in ( costs ) exactly backs up my assertion that this administration is clueless when it comes to doemstic economic issues. Thier current answer- Bail out the Mortgage lenders, print more money. Yeah for everyone.

I am old enough to vote.
