I think the most coolest part is spotting a car 200mph in a flying start, then going on to beat that car to the finish line 1/4 mile away.
FWIW, drag races are now 1000 feet, and not the 1320 feet in a 1/4 mile. The shorter distance was enacted to tame speeds following Scott Kalitta's fatal crash in 2008.
