Could be. That's why I think you keep him until the trade deadline unless you are offered a 2nd or a solid starter or solid role player at a position of need. I just think it's just as unlikely that a team is going to offer a solid starter for Lattimore as it is that they will offer a 2nd round pick. However, you might be able to get a second for Lattimore (or maybe Lattimore and a late round pick) if you trade him to a contender that needs a CB at the trade deadline.
To put it simply, I think Lattimore would have maximum trade value around the trade deadline. But, if you are in contention, then you probably don't make the deal.
