Jared Goff and the Lions agree to 4 year $212M extension.

When you think about it, he went to a team that won 5 games before he got there and 3 his first season. After 2 seasons, they won their division and were a possession away from a trip to the Super Bowl. He's done more to help turn around a team than most who are getting paid (and rated higher) than him. I think it's too much period, no matter the player, but with others are getting, I think it is deserved.
If he'd had a smarter, less risk-verse HC who didnt take a few too many unnecessary chances in the NFCCG vs. 49ers, the Lions conceivably couldve advanced to play in their first Super Bowl in franchise history. IMHO, they played at a very competitive level to win the game besides the fact that Kyle Shanahan clearly outmanuevered and out-coached Campbell in the second half.

I do hope that Campbell maybe learns some impulse-control in big, critical moments in important games or later playoff games.
