True, but there is nothing to spend the money on this year anyway. So, you can keep him this year and trade him next year if they don't get the offer they want this year. Maybe his value goes down next year, but the value of a 4th or a 5th next year isn't that different than a 3rd or 4th this year. All those picks are likely outside the top 100 so are more or less lottery tickets.
