There's that.. and the tea leaves say that this is Latt's last season in NOLA with the contract restructure the team did. They'll either trade him before/during this season, or they'll cut him when the season is over. Might as well get something for him, and its even better if he can go to the AFC.

Yeah that's the other issue...if/when we cut him due to contract language we do not get a comp pick (pending him actually staying healthy and producing)...that is why a 1st (lol) or even a 2nd RD pick aren't coming back for him. Not to mention the CB market just isn't bringing back much these days.
