No this cat is not having a seizure.

He's begging any member of his pride who might notice him "speaking" to please notice his great need and tend to it now.

What that cat wants is to be mauled against the grain. He wants to be petted backwards, a bit rough with finger nails dug in scratching to help dislodge dead skin and insects in his coat. Please, please, please!!!

Same as a thorn in his paw.

That's cat language for you, it's not an audible language except for puring. To speak it fully you would need to be able to purr and release a variety of smells from the smell emitter which you do not have.

I have learned to purr in a way that my cats find pleasing. I have also learned to not pur outside where the bobcats are. I don't want to play with them that rough.

If I purred outside they might approach me too close and then I would be stuck playing with them down on the ground and I'm not equipped with skin which could take their playful biting and claws. Cat's play rough amoung themselves.

My American Forest Cat, Gwinn often does that thing that lion is doing above when she's speaking with me. She has a problem with this climate, she was adapted for a far northern cold climate so this comes up a lot. She has entirely too much hair for this warm climate.

What she's saying to me when she does it is please get down on the floor and do to me what most cat owner would say never do with a cat. She wants me to help her thin out some of that hair, and the best way for me to do that is to maul her with backwards petting, having my fingernails extended to dig some of that hair out.

She kinda wants it to be a fair to middling rough and tumble through kind of mauling down there on that floor.

I don't know if Gwinn would allow it but have you considered shaving her fur off in the summer? My daughter has a huge orange tabby with very long, thick fur. She brought Rosco to the vet once to have some matting cleaned away from his rear end and they shaved everything except his head. He loved it (and looked hilarious) he felt so much better. She brings him every year now.
