Jake Haener makes most of competition (Article)

I like what I saw of Haener when he got some playing time. But another short QB is not what I’m looking for. We won’t ever be lucky enough to find another Drew Brees. Gimme a big, smart QB as our next starter.

As of today these are your choices:

Derek Carr 6'3", 215

Nathan Peterman 6'2", 225

Jake Haener 6'1", 200

Spencer Rattler 6'0", 211

I'm not concerned about size as much as I am about being smart. The ability to play the position at a high level is all that really matters.

Some may disagree but size isn't as important as using the tools you have to work with to the best of your ability. 🛠️
