I just want players who help the team win, whatever their physical characteristics are. If Haener or Rattler don’t work out, it won’t be because of height.

Mahomes, Jackson, Purdy, Mayfield, Young, Murray, Tagovailoa, Hurts, Prescott, and Caleb Williams are starting or projected starting QBs, most of them drafted in the 1st round, and all are listed between 5’10” and 6’2”.

I like Haener. He may be the answer to our QB woes for the future. He seems to have the smarts to play the game. When we saw him play in the preseason it just appeared to me that he had the same problem as Drew experienced when trying to scan the field. Brees knew where his receivers were at all times and could hit his spots without seeing over his linemen. Maybe Haener can do the same. But maybe not. :shrug:
