WR salaries are just out of hand. Great for him, but I would almost prefer cycling through WRs every 4-5 years and trading a really good one. That salary is OK for the Vikings because they have a rookie QB, but most teams cannot afford that for a WR with a top QB as well.

This is a good take, but I would argue teams are now understanding you probably need to invest in both, a top QB AND a top pass catcher to have a chance to really compete. Other positions can be cycled thru much easier in terms of cost and availability.
