USA Today Ranks Dennis Allen Worst Head Coach in the League

Payton has a LOT to prove without a 1st-ballot HOF QB on his roster, and there's evidence to suggest - even within his latter years coaching the Saints - that the game might have passed him by a bit. "Stale" is the word that comes to mind. 100% appreciate what he did for the Saints as a younger coach, but I'm not even sure I'd want him back at this point, as I think his stock is trending down.

That might very well be true and I’ve wondered the same. I would put him higher on the list, though, because of his past, his demonstrated ability as an offensive coach, and wait to see if he can replicate that.
