Hurricane Preparedness Tips

Something I do for my dogs - Gumbo's annual shots are early July, while I'm there I get them to print me out what is basically an overview for each dog. So I have a record of their shots and all just in case. Most vets use the same software, so you can probably get the same (or have them email)

I keep those documents + other high importance stuff in a portable, fireproof safe. Picked it up from Target for I think $70 (you can get one for $50 without a number pad), well worth it.

I'm always looking out for extra tips for dog evacuation. If we have to leave this season, I'll get to deal with a ridiculously carsick puppy. I've tried Dramamine, he actually threw up more. I am going to ask the vet about it Friday, but if anyone has similar experience, any tips would be very welcome.
Keep Clorox wipes and empty grocery bags handy in the car. That's all I've got for that.

I have two ridiculously old barn cats. The strategy this year may change because now they are both deaf, and tolerate us better. Will they tolerate the dogs? That is the question. :)
