Naw brah, the point is Houstons is/was a chain that is/was overrated and had no business being as popular in NOLA as it was .. now let’s get back to the topic of the thread, how FG robbed Pulp Fiction of Oscar glory .
Meh. It had solid food regardless of if it was a chain or not. Nothing spectacular and not close to worth the 2 hour wait times that the one on Veterans had, but solid food. If you call that overrating it, then okay. But, it's not like it was Appleby's or Chili's with one in every town with a marker on a map serving nothing but frozen food from Sysco. No idea what they are like anymore since I haven't been to one since around 1998 which is before what was Houston's on St. Charles became Gulf Stream. But, apparently Houston's is back, but maybe not in the same location?
Anyway, talk about overrated, Forrest Gump. It robbed Pulp Fiction of it's rightful Oscars.
