I'm mostly in the same boat as you. The plot seems thin and serves as a vehicle to get to the extreme scenes, instead of the scenes serving the plot. Still finding it entertaining enough to finish out the season/series, but also glad that it will end after the following season.

The show has deviated pretty strongly from the comic (which was never high art to begin with) and in losing that structure is just meandering and trying to be as crass and debased as possible. It's all pretty bad now.

I know people are always reluctant to admit something they enjoy is falling off, but this show has fallen off.
