Fast and furious best illustrated the pace NFL team executives worked early Friday morning once the free agency period commenced. The New Orleans Saints can be thrown in that number.

A trade sending Jets middle linebacker Jonathan Vilma to the Saints for an undisclosed draft pick led the long list of transaction activity, giving the Saints another playmaker.

The Saints also agreed to terms with middle linebacker Mark Simoneau and defensive tackle Brian Young. William Vann McElroy, an agent who represents both players, confirmed the deals early Friday morning. Full Story - Sun-Herald
