USMNT - ‘23 and beyond

I think his recent contract with Spain runs thru 2026 perhaps his interest is for the next cycle. (not sure if their are reasonable opt out provisions)?

I am curious though do you think the USMNT contract will extend for the balance of this cycle plus the next cycle, a 6yr gig?

If not does limiting the job to a two year deal with many players you havent groomed limit our options considerably?

I think it has to be 6 years to be attractive to larger names (and honestly what could one possibly do in just under 24 mo as you pointed to at the end above). If USSF is insistent on just thru 2026, then it almost guarantees an "in house" hire like Ramos or Cherundelo etc more as a caretaker vs manager.
