Best New Orleans Area Restaurants. Your opinions?

I don't want to go there with a man from Carencro either, but I think the best Cajun food I have had in New Orleans is at Toups' Meatery. It is really good and I think probably authentic Cajun food since the owner/chef is from Rayne. (But, I know you knew that and that Isaac Toups is a really good guy.)

Fully endorse Toup's. Upscale cajun for sure, but well worth it, and, yeah, Isaac is great. Excellent note.
There! Was that so hard? :hihi:

I'll try it! Toups is a good Cajun name, so I'm optimistic. ;)

Also, I lived in Rayne for several years and was raised about 7 miles ESE of Rayne in a community called Judice. Good cooking, in what is a very Cajun area.
