Same. I'm hoping the Saints avoid a big controversial move in the secondary for the third straight year in the row. Trading Gardner-Johnson right before the season 2 years ago and cutting Roby last year. Each time it has felt like a punch in the gut, moves that upset the defense's chemistry to start the season. And we'll never know if it made a difference or not (personally, I thought it did), but it also FELT like self-inflicted wounds to start the season like unnecessarily bruising the team morale right before the season. We don't need a 3-peat of this.

I do have a tremendous amount of faith in our other secondary guys. However, Latt seems like his big plays are extremely impactful. Even if he makes one when we are getting our butts kicked, it seems to swing momentum back to us. Like the team gets a high off of his big plays. I’m not sure if anyone else feels that way, but that seems to be the case for me. He’s “primetime”, the type of guy that makes highlight plays in key moments, would be the best way to put it
