Deadpool 3 announced

Man, I adored this film. It's a Deadpool movie so of course it work on that level, but wow did this surprise me as a really poignant sendoff of the 20th Century Fox Marvel movies, as well as a celebration of how awesome Hugh Jackman is as Wolverine. The few times the movie slows down and actually gets serious about Logan or Wade, there's actually some great character work being done.

Some very good easter eggs/gags. Comics accurate Wolverine killed me and really underscored how goofy it would've been to try and do that character in live action at 5'3.

Also, random live action Age of Apocalypse Wolverine out of nowhere. Never thought I'd see that.

This movie does underscore my belief Channing Tatum was never a great choice for Gambit, but he says some hilariously out there sheet in his short screentime.

Glad X-23 got a happy ending.

Lots of blood and gore.

Lots of ultraviolence (although it kind of comes back around to almost bloody slapstick in some cases due to their healing factors meaning they can just maim each other over and over again.)

Lots of profanity.

Lots of pretty explicit sexual jokes, references, etc.

Pretty frequent references, jokes, etc. about drug use.

It very much earned that R rating.
So it’s the equivalent of being on 5 minutes of a gaming server for those with kids.
