Why dont more airlines do this...music during boarding

Flying back from Denver last night- as we board plane, i walk on to hear JAM ON IT over PA.
Followed by PYT by MJ
then CHA CHA NOW YALL.

Just about every single passenger was moving and smiling as they boarded this flight. Why do airlines not do this more often????

Probably because unless they are paying royalties for licensed music (via a commercial subscription or otherwise), they are in violation of copyright law for playing copyrighted material in a commercial setting.
