It's funny. The GM tells a John Mara story about why they took Justin Tuck that plainly illustrates how to approach the draft. He said "well he was the highest player on the board!" That's it. End of story. Shows how teams over think the draft. Sometimes it's really that simple if you listen to the board and don't try to force the issue at a specific position.
For Saints Ryan Ram is a good example of drafting bpa. It likely works out best for teams. Idk how Bo Nix will work out for Broncos but he was a need pick drafted way too high.
