The MCU Fantastic Four

In that articled, they mention RDJ's legal issues as if there is some direct correlation to them hiring him to play Tony Stark as opposed to letting go of Majors over this, but it's apples to oranges. RDJ's legal issues over drug addiction happened in 1996, so he'd been clean for 10-12 years when they hired him to play Iron Man.
Marvel fired Majors the day he was found guilty (and good for them for not doing it before a verdict was delivered), so it's completely different.
I hope that, like RDJ, he learns his lesson, makes the needed changes in his life, and is able to get back in the graces of Marvel, et al.
