Forecast has improved a bit - at least as far as possible re-intensification goes. We’ve had a good bit of rain today but it has been more of a steady light rain with moments of thicker bands, rather than longer duration bands that cause problems. Being over land for a while seems to be keeping the rain intensity down.
But of course it’s still early in this for us. A lot left to deal with but the forward speed remains pretty decent through the updates. That’s key for us.
Charleston floods easily but the water also moves out fairly quickly too in most places. I dug some crude channels around my yard in some known ponding places but apart from that and a stocked fridge, not much to do as far as prep goes.
