(ATL-1: lost by 9 on an at-least 10-point flip, the red zone pick-six; HOU: fumbled the INT return, HOU scored a TD, won by 7, Saints had the ball late to tie; JAX: pick-six plus an overturned INT that led to 3 points for JAX in a game they won by 7, Saints had the ball late to tie).

If Klint Kubiak can clean up some of the situational football stuff that Pete Carmichael couldn’t, this team can be on the winning side of more of those close games. Other than the TB game, this team doesn’t get blown out. They’re always in it late, even if it’s that they continued to fight back in and ran out of time. That wasn’t always the case here.
