I'm actually not a Fields apologist, although I'll be the first to tell you that he was royally screwed by the Bears. You just can't throw up "OMG...look at what Williams just did" when there are years of tape showing Fields doing those exact same things in real games. Also, I've said what I said about QBs. I said during the season that Penix was the better QB and also going into the draft, that Penix is probably the best. Caleb Williams just had way more hype. This is not saying that he wasn't good but he was hyped due to aesthetics than anything.

It just seems like you use the same argument every time if a certain QB falls off. ‘The coaches screwed him over’. But if a QB you are critical of has success ie Mahomes, it is good play calling and coaching, and he’s overhyped based on “aesthetics” which is totally subjective…lol Even after Mahomes has won 3 rings you’re still hyper critical.
Look, I can’t stand Mahomes either, but you don’t win even 2 superbowls without being one of the greatest of all time.
