At this point in 2020 we were sitting at 11 hurricanes for the season. It ended at 30. Too soon to celebrate and something dumb is still likely to happen but it sure looks a lot better than the forecast indicated.
Let's face it, it really doesn't matter to vulnerable residents how many storms we see develop in a season.
Because it only takes one bad tropical system to visit your neighborhood to make it a bad hurricane season.
