Playing like a great QB would turn a lot of the criticism around. But it's not just about his play on the field, which was very good in the last 7 games. If it was, Winston wouldn't be so popular with the fan base. He was certainly never a great QB on the field but we embraced him because he was fun, a good locker room guy, and has a great personality. The same is somewhat true of Bridgewater. Truth is that Carr is likely better than Winston and certainly better than Bridgewater, but those guys never got the heat that Carr gets.
