Derek Carr stayed and made sure everyone got an autograph at yesterday’s open practice

Is he really better though?

Same results, actually worse - if you ask me

He's just perceived as better but needs more around him to be just as good because he's a percieved franchise QB. It is what it is though.

I think he is. I don't think Carr is a franchise QB and I'm not sure who really does, but I think he's around #15 and that can go up or down a little depending on how good the team around him and the scheme he is in are. I think both Winston and Bridgewater had much better teams around them when they got those wins. And a better Head Coach too. They were both either bottom end starters or good backups IMO. But, things might have been different for both of them. If Bridgewater had not destroyed his leg he might have been much better. And had Winston not spent all those years in that Bruce Arians excuse for an offense, he may have learned how to play QB and been much better.

And the truth is W/L record isn't a QB stat.
