I do think it's an issue when the report on your starting QB says he needs a clean pocket to be effective.
As much as that's true for any QB to an extent, the disruptive ability of NFL defenses means you're not always/often going to get that clean pocket. If that limits his effectiveness significantly, we're going to see a game changing impact at some point, particularly against better opposition.
Whether the new scheme can sufficiently mitigate that issue in his game, while installing multiple new linemen, is a key factor to watch for, in my opinion.
