Derek Carr stayed and made sure everyone got an autograph at yesterday’s open practice

Interesting numbers. I've just cited the things people have reported from a scouting perspective on him, so I don't doubt that these could give a different perspective

Although I suppose if you looked at everyone on a per game basis, that might remove some potential unintended bias in those numbers as regards those longer tenured QBs.

I'm not here to pump sunshine for anyone, I think he's our best option right now and hopefully for a while yet, but if more than one personnel analyst/scout says he relies on a clean pocket for success, then we have to pay heed to that.
I do not disagree. Was just interesting to see those numbers.

I have said to many people that in order for Carr to be successful he needs a strong offensive line, a good supporting cast, and he needs a game plan that is tailored to his strengths. It is just who he is. This is always my rebuttal when people say "we cannot win with Carr". Sure you can, much much worse QB's have had winning seasons, but it all has to be built to support them. They and Carr are not one of the QB's that can put a team on their back and carry them for most of the season.
