Yep. Teams generally aren’t interested in other team’s mostly unproven RBs and WRs who don’t know their system occupying an active roster spot in week 1…especially WR, a very nuanced, system-centric position.
Last year, 113 WR's were waived on cut down day. Only one was claimed (Elijah Higgins, a sixth round pick from MIA claimed by ARI). The risk is definitely exaggerated.
