I've never understood how a player is a reach 10 picks ahead of his 'projection'. If the coaches think he fits the system, and we can't trade down or know he won't be there when we pick again, how is that a reach? :dunno:
Because another team might give up a lot to move up 10 picks in the draft, whereas you could trade down, pick up what they're giving, and still draft the same guy. That's the only way it matters. If there's no one to trade down to, then you have to take the guy you want, reach or not.
