On July 31, 2018, Wilson was placed on injured reserve after being diagnosed with a torn labrum in his shoulder. He would go on to appear in three seasons with the Cowboys then two seasons with the Miami Dolphins. His best season came in 2021 with Dallas when he had 45 receptions for 602 yards and 6 touchdowns.
On March 15, 2024, Wilson signed a two-year contract with the New Orleans Saints. He made the cut to be included on the Saints initial 53-man roster.
