Two things here: Did you watch his 9ers game? He was down right awful. Dropped passes, OPI, bad routes, bad blocking, etc.
Which brings up his biggest issue that DA has spoke about - he's inconsistent. He's also playing against teams 3/4th depth guys.
Cedrick can block which is something AT can't. That alone is going to give him snaps over AT. Remember we are going to be a run first offense.
Which is true to some extent but the fact that AT was playing garbage minutes in our last preseason game is an indicator of where he stands with the staff. Not good.
From an outsiders perspective AT is close to being WR5 than WR3.
