"The Giants have declined to talk with teams inquiring about Jeremy Shockey.
The Saints reached out to the Giants on free agency eve, but New York made it clear Shockey isn't on the block. Even if the teams agreed to compensation, Shockey couldn't pass a physical because of his broken leg."
