If the Saints miss playoffs this year (not saying they will but it’s a what if) DA is 100% fired. They will not get rid of Kubiak after 1 season. So there definitely is a path
Missing the playoffs does not 100% mean DA if going to be fired. It will depend on the record and how the team plays. But if Kubiak does a good job, they will make the playoffs and if they fail to make the playoffs it will be because Kubiak failed to fix the offense which means he will go with DA if DA gets fired.
