So DPS 12- is the station that pumps from Lakeview- bounded from Orl/Jeff parish line to Wisner and Lake to HArrison.

it has ONE. Just ONE 25Hz pump.

The new station ( Post Katrina ) - DPS I10 ( the one all can see as coming/going from City ) doesnt even have a listed TRIBUTARY - the new one with 3 new 60Hz pumps.

I had never once looked into where the stations were and what areas fed them, but this map above will give all a better understanding of how reliant this city is on ALL of these stations operating in unison and any failure at any one ( ESP DPS 6, 7 and 4 ) will cause a cascading effect, reducing the ability of others that feed them ( like DPS 1 or DPS 2. )

whew. i never knew it was this much of a tightrope walk. WOW.
