If they talk on the phone for a while or communicated b4 then I can see that scenario where she offer to cook that's not strange to me depending on length of talking. if they met the day b4 that's weird. I don't find it weird to cook for someone, it's weird to want to date someone who has been accused. She may have been starstruck or maybe watson poured the game on convinced her to trust him.
