If you really think about it celebrities from tv and movies back in those days look more mature than their age, in comparison to the young celebrities today. Terry Bradshaw looks like he was in his 40s playing in Pittsburgh. Most young players look like they were in their 30s back in the 70s and 80s. Go back and watch old movies. The actors looks more mature back then than they do now.

It was the smoking.
