It’s the nature vs nurture process that details a person’s environment will determine the type of player they are as team mates, professionals, etc.
I cannot say he isn’t wrong as the more you interact with people across the country, the more one will see the cultural differences. Demographics, nuclear families, different coaches, etc. will all feed into the environment and thus create a player with values (good or bad).
Objectively look at the players drafted from OSU and you’ll see extremely gifted players with horrid attitudes (eg. Michael Thomas and Marshon Lattimore). Chris Olave’s body language is poor and often times appears as if he is pouting. That’s ok as a rookie but you’re a third year professional.
