Ethylene is a ripening agent though which causes the trichomes to continue to mature and go beyond cloudy into the amber areas much faster. This conversion from cloudy to amber changes the cannabinoid ratio and actually reduces THC for CBN, so depending on what your purpose is, Ethylene may or may not be good for your flower. If you are going for a "sleepier" effect, then CBN is good.
