2-1 we would have taken before the season started, but losing a game THIS WAY erodes what confidence we fans had built up. This team lacks any real depth at just about every position, and injuries - which should be expected - are going to wreck this team more than other ones that have built up greater flexibility in the draft and with cap management. Kubiak is a great breath of fresh air, but I expect more games like this one and fewer of the first two as this season goes on. The worrisome part of this is DA has never proved himself a determining factor, so there is little reason to expect us to suddenly improve in season. I fear what we saw the first two games was our peak. Hopfully not ...
